Remembering the Chicago Passenger Terminal

We have Mark Llanuza to thank for these fine exterior and interior shots of the Chicago Passenger Terminal which were taken in 1981 except where noted.

Looking northeast after demolition of a building across the street.

Madison & Canal Streets.

Looking in from the west.  Lake Street Tower on the left.  Power Plant on the right.  CPT in the middle.

The bumping posts are still in their original location.

The Golden Arrow/Planters Peanuts excursion train is ready to return to Clinton, IA from Track 4 in December 1983.

The Concourse.
