Operation Lifesaver – October 2007

|Home|

An Operation Lifesaver business train operated between Chicago and Global 3 in October 2007 with station stops at Elmhurst, West Chicago, Elburn and DeKalb where various city officials were picked up.  On-board seminars were given en-route and the train had an hour layover at Global 3, just west of Rochelle, where lunch was provided.  Then, the return trip to CPT.  Another trip was made with the same train to Kenosha Wisconsin on the former C&NW lines.  Here, we have some fine photographs of the trip between CPT and Global 3 provided by Mark Llanuza.  Thanks, Mark!  Several people are not identified so please let us know if you recognize any of them.
