Minutes of the Green Bay Chapters of the C&NW Vets and NARVE. Joint meeting held at the Titletown Restaurant, April 15, 2015. Charles Frost Room. Coffee and sweet rolls were served. The following to be read at our next meeting at the National RR Museum, May 20, 2015 at 10AM. President Truman Koehn read the minutes of our previous meeting of March 18, 2015. We received a 3 page informational printed communication from NARVE, area 4, which was distributed to those in attendance. Any items in this 3 page document to be discussed at our meeting on May 20th. Old Business: None New Business: The members read and discussed the obituary of the recent passing of retired Senior V.P of Operations, James A. Zito, of the C&NW RR. Who died at the age of 84 on March 28, 2015. Our chapter also received the most recent Quarterly Report from our general secretary, Dianne Koppelman. This too was read and discussed. Herb mentioned the recent tornado that tore through northern Illinois and particularly Rochelle. Followed by a discussion of the well known Rochelle RR Park, tower, and the famous U.P. B.N. diamond alongside of this park. It was reported a train passes this location every 15 minutes. The membership was advised of the upcoming Model RR Train Show, April 25-26, to be held at the Expo Hall, between the two arenas, in Ashwaubenon. This is approximately 1 block east of the east parking lot adjoining Lambeau Field and easy to find. Details can be found on the Internet under "Titletown Train Show 2015". Report of sick members: None Report on deceased members: None Meeting closed at 11AM. Our next meeting, after our May 20th meeting, will be June 17, 2015 at the National RR Museum------10AM.
