Boy Scouts of America – 100th Anniversary

For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has created a strong foundation of leadership, service, and community for millions of America's youth.  Their year of celebration runs from September 1, 2009 through December 31, 2010 providing an opportunity to demonstrate the tremendous impact of a century of living the Boy Scout Law.  Part of this celebration took place at Rochelle coincident with Rochelle Railroad Days on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 4th, 5th & 6th.  Three Heritage Units were on hand - set up just east of the Rochelle Railroad Park near the depot.  Mark Llanuza was there and sent us these photos of the equipment and the C&NW men who participated.  Thanks Mark!

Here’s the line-up of engines led by the 2010 and followed by the 1988 (MKT Unit) & 1995 (C&NW Unit).
