Mark Llanuza starts off Page 9 with 2 photos of the 150^th Anniversary Special to the Illinois Railway Museum. There is lots of room for more pictures so please send them to the webmaster.

A night out at the Mountain Home, Arkansas VFW on July 3, 2012 with (left to right) Mary Rasmussen, Joe & Norma Vettese and Barb & Rudy Dedman. Joe and Rudy are retired Wisconsin Division Engineers as was Mary’s late husband, Bill. Joe Vettese sent us this fine picture.
On June 9, 2012, the Union Pacific operated its classic passenger train from CPT to the Illinois Railway Museum (IRM) as both a 150^th Anniversary Special and for UP employee’s Family Days at the IRM. On the left we see the train leaving Chicago with the CNW 8701 leading. Station stops were made at Elmhurst & West Chicago. On the right, the train has arrived at Union, IL. On the left in that picture is Kevin Hawley with 1-1/2 years of UP service and father Engineer Dave Hawley with 32 years on the C&NW & UP. Thanks to Mark Llanuza for both photos.
