These fine contributions from Louis Wilson, Bill Linsey, Dave Hawley, former Signal Designer Mickey Senase, Bob Fisher and Joe Vettese start off Page 8.  Other contributions are welcome and appreciated.  Please send them to the webmaster.  Thanks, everyone!

Here are 4 more photos from Louis Wilson, all taken in 1984 around Harvard, IL at the scene of a broken rail replacement.  In the upper left is Wally Ramberg, Signal Maintainer at Harvard, who passed away several years ago.  At the upper right, the bad section of rail is being cut out by Bob Steinke.  Lower left is another member of the rail replacement crew who we believe is Bob "Ozzie" Ozman.  Last, on the lower right, is the boom truck operator - Curt "Fly" Teeter.  Thanks to Dave Hawley who forward these identifications from an as yet un-named source and to Louis Wilson who reviewed them and believes they are correct.  -    11/27/11

Here are 4 photos of retired Conductor Bill Linsey.  Bill hired out on the CGW as a Welder’s Helper in August, 1954 and transferred to train service in 1960 where he stayed until he retired in 1994.  The two photos on the left show Bill at CPT around 1981 or 1982.  Upper right has him in the West Chicago Locker Room in the 1970’s and the lower right view was taken at Sycamore, IL also in the 1970’s.  The 120 is a former CGW engine.  The photos were submitted by Bill Linsey.

Here’s the latest on Joe Nolan’s motorcycle – seen here at Flippen, AR on 07/05/10.  Pictured are:  Judy Nolan, Mary Rasmussen, Joe Nolan, Norma and Joe Vettese, the motorcycle & waycar.  Joe and Judy rode it in from Harvard, a trip that took them 3 or 4 days coming via Des Moines and stopping at several places of interest along the way.  They were on there way to Harrison, AR and will stay there about 4 nights while making several trips from Harrison on various scenic drives.  Great way to travel!  The photo is from Joe Vettese.

Illinois Division Conductor Steve Martin & Engineer Bob Natiello at CPT in early 2010.  Photo from Bob Fisher

Dave Hawley and retired Wisconsin Division Joe Nolan got together in early May 2010 and Joe brought along his motorcycle and trailer.  Both look great!

From the “Dark Ages” of this web site come two additional shots of Joe’s motorcycle and trailer.  These pictures are probably 4 or 5 years old and came to light as a result of the two Dave just submitted.  Looks like the way car has picked up a new number in the newer photo.

Here’s the Signal Design Group pictured at 165 N. Canal St. in the early 1980’s.  Photo from Mickey Senase.
